My Academic Life
I was born in the family with remarkable scientific background.
From the first years of my academic life, I was fascinated with the application of scientific principals in the real-world problems. Moreover, being involved in multidisciplinary areas was one of my deepest desires. Chemical Engineering has given me the chance to fulfill part of my ambitions I had in my mind.
So, I decided to study Chemical Engineering department at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), where I could enjoy from the warm atmosphere of my family, as well. Ferdowsi University of Mashhad is the largest research-oriented university in the eastern part of Iran that established in 1949. FUM is the third oldest major university in Iran. Iranian Ministry of Sciences and Technology has ranked FUM among the five top universities in the country.
I received my doctoral degree from Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), ranked 2nd in engineering in Iran, in April 2021. My Ph.D. thesis gave me the tenacity to explore the unknown in a series of Cutting-edge research on Material Science, Nanotechnology, and Chemical Engineering.
I defended my dissertation on the fabrication, characterization, and operation assessment of novel graphene-based electrodes for capacitive deionization (CDI) with outstanding results.
It is noteworthy to mention that my bold results came despite the 2 maternity leaves in as many years during my degree
